# **Instructions: Music Generatioin Comparison Task**

You will be comparing two AI-generated songs that were prompted with the same lyrics and style (genre) prompt. Each song has been generated by a different AI model. Your task is to evaluate both versions for prompt adherence, musicality and audio quality. 

**You are not expected to listen to the entire clip all the way through. Feel free to jump around different parts of the song, listening to only as much as is needed to make an informed comparison.**

## **How to Complete the Task:**
Two audio players, labeled **A** and **B**, will each contain a song. You don't need to listen to the entire clip, but make sure you listen to enough to make an informed decision on the questions. _**For the lyrics adherence question, you only need to judge through the first chorus of the song.**_ Each question is explained in more detail below:

1. **Which track better matches the style tag?** – Focus on comparing how well each song matches the specified style (genre) tags. If you don't understand all of the tags in the genre description that is ok, base your decision on the genre tags you do understand. If you don't understand any of the genre tags in a given prompt you may skip this question.

2. **Which track follows the lyrics more closely?** – Choose the song that adheres to the displayed lyrics best. A well aligned song should sing each word in the lyrics clearly, without skipping or adding any additional words. _**You only need to judge through the first chorus of the song for this question.**_ If a track is labled instrumental, it is considered well aligned if it contains no singing.

3. **Which track has better audio quality?** – Focus on the technical aspects of the audio when comparing the songs. A song with high quality quality should have no distortion or artifacts, and each instrument should be distinct, clear and natural sounding

4. **Which track do you prefer musically?** - Focus on the musical and creative aspects of the audio when comparing the songs. Choose the song that is more musically interesting and that you enjoy listening to the most, without considering how well it adhered to the style prompt.

## **Additional Notes:**
- Both clips are generated from the same prompt, but a different AI model
- Each version may have different strengths, but always select the one you think is best overall within the question category
- Comments are only needed if there's a technical issue (e.g., audio not loading or missing)
- Feel free to replay sections if needed, but try to decide within a reasonable time
